We work at the intersection of digital literacy, financial inclusion, and economic empowerment, with a strong focus on enabling young women and underserved communities to participate actively in the digital economy.
Our digital literacy programs go beyond basic technology use. We equip participants with practical, market-relevant digital skills, including mobile technology, digital financial services, online platforms, and digital safety so they can confidently access income opportunities, services, and information in an increasingly digital world.
Proven Experience in Digital Payments Rollouts
We bring hands-on experience in PayWay digital payment ecosystem rollouts, having supported and implemented PayWay deployments in Uganda, and later piloted similar models in Ethiopia, in Kirkos Sub-City, Addis Ababa.
Onboarding users and agents onto digital payment platforms
Building trust and confidence in digital transactions
Training communities on responsible and secure digital finance usage
Supporting local merchants and service providers to accept digital payments
This experience allows us to translate complex digital systems into accessible, community-level solutions.
Digital Literacy as a Catalyst for Women’s Economic Participation
Digital literacy is a foundational enabler of development, particularly for young women. Without the skills to use digital tools, access financial services, or engage with online platforms, women remain excluded from emerging economic opportunities.
Our approach recognizes that digital inclusion is not automatic it must be intentionally designed. We therefore focus on:
Removing barriers to technology adoption for young women
Strengthening digital confidence and agency
Linking digital skills directly to livelihoods, entrepreneurship, and gig-economy opportunities
Embedding safeguarding, gender sensitivity, and digital safety in all training
Development-Driven Impact
By strengthening digital literacy, we contribute to:
Increased women’s participation in the formal and informal economy
Improved access to digital financial services and markets
Greater economic resilience and income diversification
Alignment with national and global development priorities on digital inclusion, youth employment, and gender equality
Our work demonstrates that digital skills are not just technical capabilities—they are development tools that unlock dignity, opportunity, and long-term economic participation.
